Hylean World

A name for the dimension that human beings come from. Our dimension is a lower level dimension, which is to say it has a high energy density compared to the KNOT and an extremely high energy density compared to The Dark World.

Humans: Exist here in their native, fully realized form.

Wights: The shell of a human being after it has been turned into an Omikron level artifact. 100% able to enter our world and drag human beings back into the KNOT.

Hauntings: Can project into our dimension as a spectral image with only limited ability to interact - though they can sometimes be dangerous.

Artifacts: A compressed form of a Haunting. Appear in our world as ordinary objects, sometimes with a very limited ability to interact with people and objects in our own dimension (they can make us here voices, experience memory fragments, make someone lucky, block espionage, reveal information, etc).

Shades: As far as we know they can not appear in our world unless compressed into an artifact, just as we could not enter theirs without some kind of dangerous decompression. It is possible they leave behind something similar to the physical material used by Cambridge to create Wights when they are compressed into an artifact.
