Humans

Human beings are the native inhabitants of the Hylean world (among other, arguably more worthy creatures such as puppies, butterflies and rats). As far as we know only Humans can travel to the KNOT. We are also able to feel the supernatural effects of artifacts, bond with them, feel the memories present in the artifacts and use our energy to sustain their KNOT forms while we are in that dimension. When we travel to the KNOT our physical bodies are held in a limbo of some sorts, which some demons can extract them from in order to create wights.
